remembering allison

Since learning of her death I have continued to recall precious memories of my friendship with Allison in the 7th and 8th grades at PVPV school. Even way back then she was voted Most Attractive in our 8th grade class. I helped her iron her beautiful curly her hair with a real iron, way before curling or flat irons  came on the scene. We screamed together when the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan show. She had the lead in musical productions when I was happy with a few lines. What a voice she had!  We would ride thru Ponte Vedra with her brother Tut in their classic 1956 MG convertible. Allison was a Star on the Ponte Vedra Surf Club Swim Team. We had slumber parties with laughter and secrets. Time has way of marching on and I regret that I didn’t make a greater effort to keep in touch with my friend over the years.
